some information about laptop http://www.samsungpc.com/gb/support/nv5000/menu-nv5000.html I would much rather have the raw DSDT. acpidmp does not disassemble everything correctly. cat /proc/acpi/dsdt > dsdt.aml Created attachment 3206 [details]
"cat /proc/dsdt > dsdt.aml" :-)
can you re-test with linux-2.6.9 and the latest ACPI patch? http://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/lenb/acpi/patches/release/ Created attachment 3986 [details]

Some nots. 1. ac_adapter and battareys entrys alredy exist with out fixe dsdt 2. acpi prowide for windows fun rules but with kernel 2.6.9 it dus not work, i tryd patch prowidet by Luming ( http://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=4124&action=view ) it's didn't realy worked but it brout the fun working without stop .... but it worked some hauw. 3.acpi_bus-0073 [10] acpi_bus_get_device : Error getting context for object [c1138508] 4."Sleep button". On this laptop no fisikal "sleep button", only "Power" and "Undock". In WindowsXP "undock" button bring laptop to the sleep state with message "in sleep state you can undock" or some think like this. 5.Volume buttons. It's realy nice but no realy importent. Em i need to report this? |
