Distribution: Mandrake Cooker 
Hardware Environment: Celeron 500 / RAM 300MD 
Software Environment: not applicable 
Problem Description: Kernel stops telling a DMA buffer at an adress higher 
than 16MB was allocated for aha1542 
 
Steps to reproduce: 
1.install an ISA aha1542 card 
2. boot an 2.6.3 linus 
3. modprobe aha1542 
4. you've got it! 
 
It works with 2.6.0 and all 2.4.xx series. 
changelog for 2.6.2 shows : 
aha1542-warning-fix.patch maybe this explains that.

Is this problem still present in kernel 2.6.13-rc3?

I'm therefore closing this bug.

If will be at some point in the future be able to test and reproduce this a
recent kernel, please reopen this bug.
