Kernel Log
I tested this card in another laptop and the original laptop with another distro. It seams to work. So neither the laptop nor the card is broken..... Plus one for this bug. Reproduceable from .36 to 37-rc5 atheros ar928x chip, asus x61sl laptop. on 2.6.34 monitor mode works like a charm. Plus one for this bug. Reproduceable from .36 to 37-rc5 atheros ar928x chip, asus x61sl laptop. on 2.6.34 monitor mode works like a charm. Err.. new info - RTL-8185 has this issue too. Maybe not ath9k bug. This is probably a duplicate of 24452. |
Created attachment 38342 [details] lspci and dmesg I have bought a atheros 9280 card for my Dell Studio 1735 Laptop. And every time I execute "airmon-ng start wlan0", my Laptop stalls and I get a blinking CapsLock-LED. I will post kernel logs at monday. uname: Linux BLACK-2 2.6.36-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Nov 24 00:39:57 CET 2010 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5800 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux lspci -vv: in attachment. dmesg: in attachment. I tried the compat-wireless from the aur (compat-wireless-patched-daily / compat-wireless-patched) as an eventual fix for my Problem but it didn't solve it. I hope you can help me.
