It used to work with the 2.4.* series, but now it doesn't.

I have had already a bug related to this, in here:
http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1822

but although it had a quick fix, it still can't mount automagically my camera.

after upgrading hotplug, it started working as expected.
