Hi,

I cannot seem to make ALSA work with this hardware configuration:
- Apple Macbook 9.2
- Series/C216 Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller

For the record, here is everything I tried until now:

I came to the conclusion that ALSA might not detect correctly this specific audio device or might not use it correctly.
