Tried installing Fedora and Manjaro. Same thing. * acpi=force acpi_osi=Linux works as well. This is a pretty old machine. And I'm confused, you mentioned that "Ubuntu can't boot with acpi=off on kernel 5.11" in the subject but "Kernel 5.11 boots ok with `acpi=off`." in comment #0 So with kernel 5.11, does it boot okay without any acpi parameters? |
