Description fily1212 2021-02-09 12:41:31 UTC
Hello,
I can't connect my second monitor with kernel 5.8.0.43 and driver nvidia-driver-450 and nvidia-driver-460.

With 5.3.18-050318-generic this is possible. So, I think the problem is the kernel. Maybe I can do a Kernel bisect, but I don't know how to perform it...

Can you help me?

NVIDIA drivers are outside of control of Linux kernel developers, so you're very unlikely to get any help here.

Please try asking here:

Thank you for your reply.
Are we sure that this is outside of control of the kernel, since it works with Kernel 5.3 and not with 5.8 and later, same drivers?

Best,
Filippo
