this error ACPI-BIOS error: Failure creating [\_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB.SS04._UPC], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20181213/dswload2-324) should not be related with the boot issues. This is what I got from ssdt1.dsl. Firmware Error (ACPI): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB.HS01._UPC], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20190816/dswload-388) Could not parse ACPI tables, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS This is clearly a BIOS bug, which we could not fix from Linux kernel. For the Boot issue, please 1. confirm if the problem still exists with the latest vanilla kernel. 2. when it does not boot, do you mean it reboots/hangs or anything else? if it hangs, please take a screenshot. please file a new bug report with the above information attached. |
