dmesg with two monitors

System information:
Mainline kernel 5.2.0-rc2
Mesa 19.1.0_rc4
Card Radeon VII
Monitors LG 24UD58-B via DP

When using only one monitor, then everything works fine. But when using two, the system starts to hang and try reset gpu.

There is a bug report about this with more information over at freedesktop.org https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110674

It affects 5.1 and 5.2 while 5.0 was fine.
Comment 3 Steffen Schröter 2019-08-07 07:10:17 UTC
I can confirm this bug, using kernels 5.1 or higher with two DP monitors connected leaves me unable to boot. Disconnecting one monitor makes it work as expected.

If i boot with a single monitor and then plug in the second one after booting the system crashes with graphical corruption.

On older kernels everything works fine.

I have the same monitors as sehellion and can confirm this issue with Radeon VII is still not fixed in 5.3-rc3.
Comment 5 ReddestDream 2019-08-28 00:01:52 UTC
