Calling upon Jie Yang to look into this bug. Hello, May I help with additional logs, traces, debugs? If needed, just let me know. I'm not sure why Atheros isn't being responsive. I see no patches in recent git-logs that address something like what you're reporting. Unfortunately I have no way to troubleshoot, since I don't have a atl1e device in my machines. Can you provide the output of: ethtool -k eth0 Perhaps we can turn off some features and see if it helps. Hello, after year of using something else, I return to this, upgraded to 2.6.37 and get the same thing. So ethtool-k gives: root@summerborn:/usr/src# ethtool -k eth0 Offload parameters for eth0: rx-checksumming: on tx-checksumming: on scatter-gather: on tcp-segmentation-offload: on udp-fragmentation-offload: off generic-segmentation-offload: on generic-receive-offload: off large-receive-offload: off rx-vlan-offload: on tx-vlan-offload: on ntuple-filters: off receive-hashing: off Planning move to 3.2 but do not know whether it will help.... Did 3.2 help ? Hello, installed Ubuntu 64 12.04 with kernel 3.2.0.31 Same issues, now seeing issues with aetheros Wireless as well. Please specify what files and output do you need for this to progress if possible? ATL1E is maintained by Atheros itself, not by me. Adding Atheros contact to cc list. Xiong, can you please direct this bug to the appropriate engineer? Hi Ivo: what "The new laptop hangs" means: the new laptop can't accept input or only the ethernet card can't transfer data? Could you give the snapshot of the last ten lines in your smb and ftp capture file. |
