Btw the information for the speaker is from alsa-info. USB speaker and HDMI audio output works perfectly fine. Temp solution for others - I've found a driver on Github that works very well: https://github.com/leifliddy/macbook12-audio-driver |
Created attachment 282769 [details] Information for the speaker Hi. I am unable to hear any sound output with the Cirrus Logic CS4208 speaker on my Macbook 9,1 (x86-64). The audio device is Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio. Updating my Linux kernel from 4.15.0-48 to 4.18.0-20 hasn't made any difference. I am currently using Linux Mint 19 Tara if that helps. Thank you for reading.
