Created attachment 282315 [details] alsa-info.sh output There are two problems with this machine. 1. The front panel audio jack support Combo Headphone (Stereo)/Microphone (mono),But snd_hda_intel can not detect the microphone. Only speaker or headphone work. 2.This machine have internal digital microphone array(DMICS) connectors that contains four internal microphones. Only one internal microphone(mono) can be enabled. These problems may all be related to this file: sound/pci/hda/patch_realtek.c I tried : cat /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf options snd_hda_intel model=alc700-ref (And change the model to "dell-headset-multi" "predator-spk") Nothing happened. I've tried several Linux livecds, and this problem exists. I tried to install Non-Open Source OS to eliminate hardware problems. Hardware : Intel NUC8i7HVK (Hades Canyon) Soundcard : Realtek ALC700
