Hotkeys (media controls, screen brightness, keyboard brightness, airplane mode, etc...) do not work in Linux for ASUS ROG GM501G.
This is similar to bug #150811 but I was told to open a new bug.

Same here on ASUS ROG G531GT on Ubuntu 18.04 kernel version 5.0.0-37.
