Description Jason Scalia 2018-05-23 18:28:34 UTC
Hello,

I am currently experiencing lot's of static and "thunks" on and off regarding audio on my Dell E7450 Laptop's line out. I've tried different speakers and headsets, with the same issue. If I mute the audio, the hissing and intermittent "Thunk" also stop.

I've tried disabling power management, with no luck:

# cat /sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save
0

I'll attach the output of alsa_info and lspci.

Thanks!

I have similar issue to Jason here. Similar product line hw here Lattitude E7470.

cat /sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save reports 0 by default on my fedora 27 system.

I will update with another lspci report.
