This issue is not occurring when my computer is off, so it cannot be a duplicate of bug #198665. Could you please use powertop to track which components are the offenders? And also please provide the turbostat/top/perf record to check the activity of the system? ping Closed due to insufficient data within 3 weeks, please feel free to reopen if you can help provide the powertop result for further debugging. |

This issue does not occur on such a scale in Windows, leaving me to believe this is an issue with something in Linux using too many resources.
