I have virtually the same messages on a Asus T100CHI (Z3775) a baytrail [ 2.661024] pwm-lpss 80860F09:00: invalid resource [ 2.661126] pwm-lpss: probe of 80860F09:00 failed with error -22 backlight control works anyway pwm-lpss 80860F09 invalid resource error message with 4.14. Had to downgrade kernel from 4.14 to 4.9 in order to boot. Intel Bay Trail-M Dual Core Celeron N2840 Processor.
