Created attachment 30392 [details] dmesg I've got a Sony Vaio VPCS12C5E and realized that KMS doesn't work, the screen just get black in the moment the kernel tries to set the mode. It stays black, the only way back is to power off the device. However, booting the kernel with "nomodeset" works, at least the console. Haven't installed any X server yet. I'm attaching some files, which could be useful, I hope I haven't forgotten anything important.
