Problem Description:when the kernel either comes to the detection of the iee1394
controler, or the module trys to detect the controler, it hangs.... 

Steps to reproduce: compile the linus tree kernel with ieee1394 as a yes and
then reboot and have it detect the controler

Surely fixed since 2.6.1.
