Description Bernhard Heibler 2003-12-08 23:50:45 UTC
Distribution: SUSE 9.0
Hardware Environment: 2 x Pentium 4 Xeon 2.4 GHZ Hyper Threading, Tyan Tiger
i7505
Software Environment: Kernel 2.6.0-test-11
Problem Description:

The boot process sometimes gets stuck after initializing CPU#2. See attached
log file. I had the same problem sometimes with Kernel Version 2.4.20 but
never run into this on Kernel 2.4.21.

Steps to reproduce:
Boot the kernel 2.6.0-test-11. The chance is about 25% that the problem
happens.
