I always see this ACPI errors in dmesg:

This laptop use ITE IT8502e embedded controller (acpi) (8032 uC, which 8051-compatible)
It's base = 0x68E
This is reverse engineered part of EC code

does the problem still exist in the latest upstream kernel, say 2.6.35 or 2.6.36-rc?

Could you please try latest kernel 2.6.36?

The ACPI errors should be fixed already.
