Description Shaista Siddique 2010-05-11 05:56:00 UTC
I had installed ubuntu image on virtual box. I clicked hibernate and virtual machine crashed.

Then i installed Ubuntu on my machine and then tried to make my machine sleep. When i presed hard button to awake my machine, it showed me blank scree. Another try for this showed me disabled screen with login menu asking for password in white color and rest of the screen as black.

In short i am not successful in resuming my machien after hibernation and sleep.

do you mean you got a garbled screen after resume, but the system still works at this time, i.e. you can login via network, and keyboard is still working, right?
