some specs: AMD 770 chipset, Athlon II X4 605e, AMD64 arch, rv710 radeonhd4550, using KMS more detailed problem description: kernel boots into initramfs, ask for cryptsetup password, boots further and at an arbitrary position kernel freeze/io freeze/everything freeze if i then press any key the kernel continues to boot for one or two seconds and again i have to press a key and so on... hmmm...overlooked the other one...duplicate of #15289 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 15289 *** Do you also have a Gigabyte mainboard?
