Hello,

I MUST report silly regression which occured in 2.6.32 kernel.
When playing DVB stream and having 3D acceleration same time kernel freezes. This occured when my screensaver started after a while and I lost all my data! :(

Driver radeon

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10]

2.6.31 works fine!

Any chance you can bisect what commit broke things? Also, have you tried 2.6.33rcX kernels? It's possible this is no longer an issue.
Comment 2 Alex Deucher 2010-02-03 22:12:52 UTC
Also, is this with KMS enabled or not? If you are using KMS, can you attach your dmesg from both kernels?

I use Debian stable - I think I don't use KMS.
I didn't tried 2.6.33 yet

Stable version of Debian will not create this issue...
Try a stable debian kernel..
Hope it will help.

Cijoml, is this still a problem on current 2.6.32.y kernels or even on 2.6.37.y?
Comment 7 Cijoml Cijomlovic Cijomlov 2011-02-01 22:40:43 UTC
nope it works with Vanilla 2.6.37.
