Description Beiruty 2010-01-31 00:52:40 UTC
Last Kernel that is working for me is 2.6..31-17 from ubuntu ppa.

Trying latest kernel version 2.6.33-RC6 from mainline ppa I got a kernel panic.

hm, it doesn't seem to be an acpi-specific bug.

Can you please set the terminal to 50-rows mode so we get to see all of the oops? Use `vga=extended' or something from Documentation/x86/boot.txt and Documentation/svga.txt, thanks.
