Created attachment 22124 [details] .config [2.] I built i915 driver into the kernel (I wanted to try KMS), and I get an oops on boot. If i915 is built as a module I am able to boot (except I get an oops in thinkpad_acpi->find_video, but booting goes fine). Regardless of KMS being enabled or not I do get this oops (which prevents further booting). I am just showing the oops with KMS enabled, because it switches to high resolution and I am able to see more of the oops message.
