Description Tulio Magno Quites Machado Filho 2009-05-24 21:36:15 UTC
This seems the same problem as Bug 13121.

When pressing one of brighteness keys, I get this:
[76607.890373] ACPI: Failed to switch the brightness

I am sending the outputs of dmidecode and acpidump.

It does not work.

And I've got this from dmesg when starting the system:
[ 37.571501] ACPI Error (video-0537): Current brightness invalid [20090320]

And this when pressing the keys:
[ 84.964319] ACPI: Failed to switch the brightness
