I confirm this bug. (see https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/237318 ) Also, it might be interesting to note that the lsusb number is the same as a number of touchpads on various laptops. Is the kernel thinking that this is a touchpad and thus not thinking a touchpad could have a wheel? ok, it seems that that the trackball I was testing was broken, it's not a bug in the kernel. Funny stuff : it broke the day my coworker migrated to Ubuntu, leading us to think that it was an Ubuntu bug. Those trackball seem really easy to break. |
