Related bug in Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/333730 Earliest failing kernel version: 2.6.27-11-generic I am having the same issue with 2.6.27-11-generic on an Asus G71G which uses ath9k. Session drops a lot. Sometimes removing and re-inserting ath9k resets it and it works for a few minutes before dropping. 2.6.27 is old and fixing this involves a lot of changes which you can already just reap benefits from by using a newer kernel. Please try 2.6.29. Closing based on comment 4. Please reopen (or better, open a more specific bug) if problems persist with 2.6.29 or later. Sad to see this bug closed as it is very annoying and I'm far from being the only person to be affected by this problem, see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/333730 |
