ACPI doesn't control the LCD power.
as this is a X issue, I'm wondering why you file a bug against ACPI. :p
please open a new bug report at http://bugs.freedesktop.org/.
the graphics guys there may give you some help.

If LCD powerdown don't work under terminal (without X) then
is a X issue too?

I have the same problem on Lenovo 3000 N100.
No X. The screen blanks, but does not powerdown.
Debian stable (lenny), kernel 2.6.26-1-am64

In case I am doing something wrong with config, I have a Debian base system with laptop packages. No desktop environment. setterm setup like this:
setterm -blank 1
setterm -powersave powerdown
setterm -powerdown 2
setterm -store

Let me know if I must provide more details.

X (or nowdays X+DRM issue). Whether the text console supports blanking to power down depends on the system
