With my poor eyesight and a 17" diag. crt monitor I prefer 80x25 command line mode.

Framebuffer is hard coded to do what it wants to do.

Compiled a custom 3.10.92 kernel without framebuffer and it works fine. Thought
I'd try 4.x but can not get rid of framebuffer nor tell it to keep 80x25 mode.

Please try to reproduce this bug with latest kernel image.
