The latest 4.1.1 kernel (as of 2015-06-30) seems to have problems with power-off.

I'm compiling 4.1 kernels on a daily schedule to test how good support for the Skylake platform is, but now I'm experiencing poweroff and reboot problems on Fedora 22.

Setup an older Grantley based workstation with F22 and same kernel, problem is still reproducible on older hardware platforms, so in this case I wouldn't blame it on the Skylake platform or any hardware dependency.

Tried to find out whats going on with SYSRQ, but it looks like all CPU cores are just idle. Is there any way to get an idea why the machine doesn't power off?

Problem occurs both on EFI and non EFI installations.

Probably related to https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100691 or https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100221
