Created attachment 287529 [details] dmesg output with the latest (2020-02) iwlwifi drivers Hi, I bought a brand new Lenovo Yoga s730 couple of days ago apparently with Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 9560 wireless adaptor on it. I attempted to install Debian for days without any luck. I have tried stable, testing, old stable, live and probably more of Debian images. I ended up trying every version of firmware-iwlwifi package from the kernel repo as soon as 9560 was supported up until 2020 February release. I've also tried removing the ucode files that it is using down to 34 on file names, always getting the error below: iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Failed to load firmware chunk! iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: iwlwifi transaction failed, dumping registers iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: iwlwifi device config registers: iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: 00000000: 02f08086 00100406 02800000 00800000 4bb1c004 00000060 00000000 00000000 iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: 00000020: 00000000 00000000 00000000 00348086 00000000 000000c8 00000000 000001ff iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: iwlwifi device memory mapped registers: iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: 00000000: 18489004 00000040 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: 00000020: 00000011 0c040005 00000351 d55555d5 d55555d5 d55555d5 80008040 001f0040 iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Could not load the [0] uCode section iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Failed to start INIT ucode: -110 iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Failing on timeout while stopping DMA channel 8 [0x0bad1122] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Failed to run INIT ucode: -110 I am surprised that there is the exact error guy was having from 2012 with no resolution on the forum thread*. So either I'm missing something obvious or this wifi adaptor is too new to support. Best. * https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=238482
