dmesg-4.8.11-probook.txt

Ever since I have this HP ProBook 6555b and need to run a force fsck during boot after the crash, the console screen is not blanked. Instead its all white.
I think that started already with openSUSE 11.3 and its kernel 2.6.34, and continued up to now with openSUSE Tumbleweed and its kernel 4.8. Just today I had to boot with fsck.mode=force after crash, and the screen still turned white instead of being powered off. So here I am.
