Description Jaxon Lee 2007-10-24 22:05:11 UTC
Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur:
Distribution: Ubuntu 7.04
Hardware Environment: Athlon 64 X2, 2GB Ram, 320 SATA HD, Nvidia 7300GS pci-e (yes, this problem happened well before I loaded any binary kernel modules)
Software Environment: Ubuntu 7.04
Problem Description: System will not recognize USB devices plugged into my pci add-on card, or firewire devices. Also, after a few minutes of use, system becomes unstable with random freezes.
Exerps from dmesg:

Jaxon,
Can you please verify if the problem exists with current kernel (2.6.23.1 at least, preferably 2.6.24+)
Thanks.
