Description Chris 2007-08-02 01:36:24 UTC
Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur: unknown
Distribution: Ubuntu Feisty
Hardware Environment: M-Audio Revolution 7.1 and Realtek
Software Environment: Gnome 2.18.1
Problem Description: When I first login sound is only coming from the right speaker. To get sound out of the left speaker I have to nudge the volume slider in the mixer, and then sound is in stereo from then on until the computer is shut down, then the whole process repeats.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Turn on computer and login
2. Play any file with audio
3. Nudge volume slider while file is playing
