Most recent kernel where this bug did *NOT* occur: 2.6.17
Distribution: Ubuntu
Hardware Environment: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM. Toshiba laptop
Software Environment:
Problem Description: While using FN hotkey to lower brightness, display plane
often switch off. Pressing FN hotkey an other time make it swhitch on again.
This problem is due to ACPI because it don't occured with gnome brigthness applet.

Steps to reproduce: Boot up.
Use FN hotkey to lower brigthness.
Use it an other time if display don't get back 1 seconde later.

Hotkey switch to 0x900 => uppering

Please stop acpid first and attach do "#cat /proc/acpi/event"
Then press the Fn keys for several times and attch the output.
