Software Environment:
Problem Description:
I experienced random hangs with ati free driver enabled.
I get no info from xorg.log,kernel.log,xsession.errors
I tried many option in xorg.conf (enable/disable fastwrite,agpmode=1 or =4,...)
but the problem still remains.
I experienced many hangs when I do startx (black screen and nothing that I can
do),but the problem is very random.

My temporary solution is to leave dri feature.
