Most recent kernel where this bug did *NOT* occur:
Distribution: Debian testing
Hardware Environment: Thinkpad A21m with docking station(Type 2631)
Software Environment: latest linus git, modules: ide_acpi, pata_cmd64x
Problem Description:
If I docking, i don't see in lspci output randomly IDE controler on the dock.
If i booting notebook with docking station, lspci show IDE controler.
Steps to reproduce:

-Boot laptop undocked.
-Dock laptop [dock ac connected]

echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/slot/1/power
lspci -tv
#wait few second
echo 0 > /sys/bus/pci/slot/1/power
lspci -tv
#wait few second
echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/slot/1/power
lspci -tv
#wait few second
echo 0 > /sys/bus/pci/slot/1/power
lspci -tv


In next attachment more info. Search for word: enable-slot and pata.

I dont have UltraBay2000 Drive for testing hotplug, but I am found this error.

I am ready for testing.
