Distribution: Suse 10.1
Hardware Environment:amd 64 bits, asus a8n-vm motherboard
Software Environment: kde
Problem Description:
have some usb problem

i have a ups connected to the usb controler
on another controler i have an usb webcam

i get some strange problem, the webcam don't work, if the ups is connected

the ups is a slow device and seem to block all device...

if i remove the ups and connect a usb mouse, i get the same problem
a mouse is a slow device and block other usb device

with the (mouse or ups) and the webcam i get this error

Can you provide the output of the /proc/bus/usb/devices file with everything
plugged in?  (as an attachment please).

And also all of the kernel log messages?

Also, can you try the 2.6.18-rc5 kernel out?  It has a much improved code for
handling the high/low speed issues in the ehci host controller.

both file you asked are in attachment

i installed the 2.6.18-rc5 but not the source.... need to recompile webcam 
drive

will do it this week

Marc,
Can you try the newest kernel (2.6.22-rc4)? It has multiple fixes for USB, good chance that your problem has been addressed.
