Description Hendrik Lipka 2006-07-31 08:55:14 UTC
Distribution: Debian
Hardware Environment: Asus P2B-S
Problem Description: For the Asus P2B-S, all revisions and all BIOS versions are
blacklisted. I used to remove the entry from blacklist.c and have the boot
parameter 'pci=noacpi' for using ACPI - I used in only to query the power button
(for shutting down the computer :)
During a machine re-install, I forgot the boot parameter - and everything
worked. So I assume, that at least for the latest released BIOS (Version 1014
beta 003) ACPI works correctly on this board (my machine has all PCI slots used,
and all cards work properly, so I assume the PCI routing works now).
