Please try the latest kernel, 2.6.16-rc6-mm1 is available now,
did this ever work for any kernel on this system?
I don't think so. The battery wasn't detected on any system I tried - I've just installed Debian and earlier I used Mandrake with kernel 2.6.8 and it also didn't work
Please try the latest stable kernel 2.6.16, which is available on www.kernel.org. This is needed for the next patchs using.
Hi. At last I have checked the battery with newer kernel. It works fine! I have tried plain 2.6.16 kernel and 2.6.17-rc1. In both cases battery was detected. Thanks for Your help and patience Regards, Tomek
