Problem Description:
when I try to mount a cd using it I get a message invalid file system and tons o
f errors in the logs:

It does not matter which cd/dvd I use.
using ide-scsi fixes this but It refuses to burn anything.
Steps to reproduce:
try to mount a cd using ide-cd
notice errors
do the same with ide-scsi works, but no burning

the same happens with 2.6.16-rc5 (vanilla)

this does no longer happen (can't remember version that fixed it)
