Hardware Environment:
i686, ipw2100

Problem Description:
Using ipw2100 raises BUG_ON in ieee80211_geo.c:81. Causing serious site effects
(e.g. X server does not work).

Steps to reproduce: 
# modprobe ipw2100
scan for networks

Resolution:

The included version ipw2100-1.1.3. is not compatible with ieee80211-1.1.7.
ipw2100-1.1.4 resolves the problem.

Is this issue still present in kernel 2.6.16?

Please reopen this bug if it's still present in kernel 2.6.17.
