BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA only" resolv this problem. But it's
inpossible to boot with cdrom.

Did some previous kernel work OK?

Please send dmesg for BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA only".

dmesg 2.6.15

This is kernel 2.6.15 dmesg, with some error from other device

BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA only"
Comment 6 Oleksij Rempel (fishor) 2006-01-12 09:05:18 UTC
Did some previous kernel work OK?
No. This is not regression.
Comment 7 Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz 2006-01-12 10:23:54 UTC
Thanks. What was your original BIOS setting?

It reminds me that ICH[5678] chipset support needs to be fixed w.r.t. to IRQ
acking issue (I wonder whether this will cause conflicts with libata driver).

For now please stick to the workaround.
Comment 8 Oleksij Rempel (fishor) 2006-01-12 10:55:06 UTC
The original BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA + PATA"

Please confirm the bug status - is there plans to fix the problem, was it fixed already, or it should be closed permanently.
Thanks.
Comment 10 Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz 2008-03-15 06:30:10 UTC
This should be fixed in recent kernels.
