Created attachment 6950 [details] dmesg
Created attachment 6951 [details] lspci
BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA only" resolv this problem. But it's inpossible to boot with cdrom.
Did some previous kernel work OK? Please send dmesg for BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA only".
Created attachment 6997 [details] dmesg 2.6.15 This is kernel 2.6.15 dmesg, with some error from other device BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA only"
Did some previous kernel work OK? No. This is not regression.
Thanks. What was your original BIOS setting? It reminds me that ICH[5678] chipset support needs to be fixed w.r.t. to IRQ acking issue (I wonder whether this will cause conflicts with libata driver). For now please stick to the workaround.
The original BIOS setting "Enhacent mode" + "SATA + PATA"
Please confirm the bug status - is there plans to fix the problem, was it fixed already, or it should be closed permanently. Thanks.
This should be fixed in recent kernels.
It is fixed. Thank you all!
