Description Imran Haider 2005-12-22 17:34:06 UTC
Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur:
Distribution: Gentoo
Hardware Environment: 2.6ghz pentium4 HT
Software Environment: software suspend2
Problem Description:
system hangs when resuming from Suspend2 and p4-clockmod module is (was)
loaded. However, system successfully resumes once in a blue moon. The system
always resumes properly when p4-clockmod is NOT loaded

Steps to reproduce:
 -load p4-clockmod module
 -use cpufreqd to adjust frequency
 -hibernate using hibernate-script (software suspend2)
-resume computer from total power off

Can you please verify if this happens on 2.6.18?
Comment 2 Pavel Machek 2006-09-29 04:08:56 UTC
Please reproduce it with vanilla 2.6.18, and reopen if still present.
