Description Kevin O'Riordan 2003-04-04 03:24:49 UTC
Distribution: Mandrake Linux 9.1

Hardware Environment: Laptop - mobile athlon4 processor, 512 MB RAM, via motherboard

Software Environment: GNOME 2.2, gcc 3.2.2

Problem Description: When configuring kernel options through gconfig, the check
boxes show either selected or unselected. Can't get option to configure as module.
Also where there is a choice of 1 of many, checkboxes are displayed instead of
radio buttons.

Steps to reproduce: Run make gconfig

The patch does not fix this problem because I was not been able to reproduce
it.

Could you give me a preicse example or a screenshot ?

Its nothing you can really capture in a screenshot. You cannot choose to
configure as a module, for checkbox's and radio buttons in gconfig there's just
on and off, theres nothing in the middle (module). Perhaps its a limitation of
gtk, im not sure.

I wasn't able to reproduce the problems you described in a recent 2.6 kernel.

Are you still able to reproduce it?

I got no answer for my question last year whether this problem is still
reproducible.

Please reopen this bug if it is still reproducible.
