Software Environment:
Problem Description:
I have to use parameter "irq=routeirq" to get sound working.
I reported because i read this in dmesg:
PCI: Using ACPI for IRQ routing
PCI: If a device doesn't work, try "pci=routeirq". If it helps, post a report

And it worked :-)

Steps to reproduce:

title kernel 2.6.12
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/bzImage root=/dev/hda1 ro
initrd /boot/initrd.2.6.12
Comment 1 Len Brown 2005-08-14 22:17:26 UTC
I assume that "irq=routeirq" in the text above should
really by "pci=routeirq"?

Is this still an issue in 2.6.13-rc6?
Comment 2 Len Brown 2005-09-14 23:17:29 UTC
please re-open if this is still an issue in 2.6.13 or later
