Description Iacopo Spalletti 2005-07-17 10:46:08 UTC
Distribution: Debian Sid
Hardware Environment: Asus M6N Laptop
Software Environment: GCC 4, glibc 2.3.5

Hotkeys events are delayed by three keystrokes as if the events queue
is not flushed (ie: on any hotkey stroke the related event is showed
in acpid log -and executed by acpid- only after three more keystrokes).
This problem appeared in 2.6.13rc3 (rc2 and older are not affected)

Hi,ASUS A3521LU - similar problem, but it's 7 keypresses "late". I'm using
Debian stock kernel - 2.6.12 and 2.6.14 behave the same incorrect way.

Please try ec_burst=1.
Comment 7 Robert Lences 2005-11-02 10:32:49 UTC
Thanks a lot, it works. I don't know what ec_burst does, but it does it well ;-)
