Description Sergey Kondakov 2012-06-26 09:40:06 UTC
kernel had almost complete support for it for quite a while now, but bluez-101 still doesn't, despite existing patches from Antonio Ospite (http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.bluez.kernel/15308) and Fedora (http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/gitweb/?p=bluez.git;a=tree) and wiimote support entering bluez promptly.

will we ever see complete mainline SA/DS3 support ?
and is this proper a place for bluez bug-reports, or its tracker is hidden somewhere else ?

It's only used for tracking kernel bugs so it's not the right place. I suspect you need to rattle cages and repost patches on the bluex mailing lists.
Comment 2 Sergey Kondakov 2012-07-13 13:00:28 UTC
that is quite ridiculous for bluez's userspace not to be supported the same way bluez's kernel part is, despite belonging to the same project.

i'll be hoping that someone will set up bug-tracker for it eventually. after all, it has its own domain and web-page.
