PgUp does not work Acer Aspire 5750-9668

[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
What is expected to happen is when one presses the PgUp key on the laptop built in keyboard, it does so.

What happens instead is no program goes one page up. PgDown works as expected. 
One thing noticed is when pressing Ctrl+Alt+F2 and logging in, PgUp works as expected but does not work in the Terminal when in Ctrl+Alt+F7.

Hmm, the dmesg posted does not have i8042 debug data that should have been generated when runnign the script. Please make sure you post the right thing; you have 5 seconds to press PgUp while i8042 is in debug mode. The end of dmesg should look similar to:

The above occurred after only quickly pressing and releasing PgUp once.

I also tried:
sudo su
sudo sh script.run

No change in dmesg.

Despite this, after the erroneous phenomenon of pressing PgUp once and it acting as if I hit it multiple times, PgUp no longer registers a click until after a restart.

Upgraded BIOS to newest available (1.20), PgUp works as expected. RESOLVED INVALID. Sorry for the noise.
